Are they real?

In Oklahoma we get damaging storms every year, and every year the fly by night companies come in and do their own damage. And, every year I sit here and wonder why anyone even hires these people, it would seem Oklahoma, of all places, would know a fly by night when they see one.

Here is what these guys do, they come in and promise the sun, the moon and the stars. They sale as much as they can, get as much money as they can and then they move on to the next big storm. Leaving behind, bad roofs, leaks, contracts not completed and a general black eye for all roofers.

There are so many good roofing companies right here, we all compete with each other for your business all year long. We all work, live, eat and sleep right here in Oklahoma and most importantly we all spend our money here in Oklahoma, so when there is a large storm that damages roofs, that is just an opportunity for us to get tons of money injected into our economy.

Of course we would like to be the roofing contractor you choose, and we know that you would be glad if you did choose us. However, in the unfortunate case you do not hire us, please please please hire a local company.

Here is a little tip ... local companies will hire out of state people to help out during this kind of thing, so out state does not mean storm chaser (fly by night) ... if you are wondering if they are really a local company, just look them up on the state registers site.

Type in the name of the company in the search box, and you will find out very quickly if they are registered with the state or not. And, everyone who does business in Oklahoma is supposed to be registered with the state of Oklahoma
