We where hit very hard with wind and hail in Oklahoma, it was like a war zone here. My family and I had our electricity knocked out, which was fine with my four year old, since that meant staying in a hotel. For some odd reason she likes that, don't ask me why.

As you can see by the picture, this hail was no joke. I could not believe the size of some of these chunks of ice. Or, cannon balls from the sky!
You can bet they sure left their mark.

We where very lucky, the hail did not hit my particular neighborhood, but not everyone was as fortunate as we where. The night the storm hit and the next day, my crews and I where out helping to patch up roofs.
Just want to make sure that any holes in the roof are covered, the only thing that could make this worse is interior water damage from holes in the roof. Even with more then ten people working , we barely put a dent in the numbers of homes that needed help.
Now, you wonder what could be worse then this kind of damage to your home and cars?
Well, I can tell you what is much worse. The fly by nights who come rushing into town looking to take advantage of distraught home owners, and make as much money as then can, then "poof'' as fast as they came, they are gone.
How can you check out a local company?
Well, here are some very simple things you can do:
1. If they ask you to sign anything without a cost, telling you that your insurance will pick up the bill. DO NOT SIGN IT! This is the number one method of a fly by night roofer, to get you on the hook while you are still and emotional wreck over the damage.
I advice you get the roof covered and then take breather, let some of the dust settle, then after your insurance adjuster as come and gone. Then start looking for a contractor to do the actual repair work.
2. Call the local chamber of commerce and see if the company is even a member, any business who cares about the community they work in, will be a member of the chamber of commerce. This also assures you, that you are hiring a company who invest back into the community.
3. Go to the State registers web site and check to see if the company is even registered to do business in Oklahoma. Every contractor is required to be registered with the state of Oklahoma and if they are from out of town, they are required to be registered and carry a bond with the state.
4. Always ask that any contractor you are considering provide some proof of insurance, and call their insurance company to make sure the document they provided is legitimate. Yes, some people will forge insurance documents.
5. Always ask for a supplier name and contact person, and call that person. The supplier has no more interest in one contractor over the next, and will gladly tell you if the contractor you are considering has been doing business in the area for some time, or not.
Hiring locally helps keep our own economy strong, and it's just good idea.
Or ... You can just call us, we are licensed, bonded, insured and do great work ...
